About Us
How We Met
We met when we were 19 years old while working at a local pet store. We dated for about 7 years before marrying in October of 2007. We had a very small wedding with close friends and family, followed by a lovely honeymoon. Since we met at a very young age, we have really grown together and truly are each others best friends! We have a very honest & respectful marriage, and believe that communication, honesty & respect are the foundations of a healthy relationship. We believe this to be true not only with our marriage, but with the relationship we hope to have with our children.
Since Antoine has much younger siblings, we have had a chance to watch them grow up, and experience some amazing milestones with them. We knew a couple of years before we got married that we wanted nothing more than to start a family. However, after a few years of surgeries and unsuccessful infertility treatments, we decided that adoption was the way for us to start our family. With as much as we loved Antoine’s younger siblings as if they were our own, we knew that it did not matter if our child was biologically ours or not. Our ultimate goal was to be parents!!! We have both grown up in families where adoption is a very openly discussed matter. Both of us have several cousins who have been adopted and we have close relationships with all of them.
We are so fortunate to have many wonderful, close friends & feel very blessed to have them as such a big part of our lives. They are all so supportive and excited about our adoption journey...and can’t wait for our little one to be a special playmate for their babies and toddlers!
About Jennifer
Jennifer is the oldest of two children in her family. She has a sister who is two years younger than her. Jennifer and her sister remain close, as they were throughout their childhood. Jennifer’s parents live close by as does her sister and her family which allows them all to get together at least three to four times a week. She is also extremely close with her mom and dad. She enjoys going shopping each weekend with her mother and sister and spending time with them. Her parents have been happily married for almost 30 years!
Jennifer works in system configuration in the I.T. department at a health insurance company. In her spare time, she loves playing many different musical instruments, including clarinet, flute, trumpet and saxophone. She looks forward to sharing her love of music with her children! She also loves to read a good book and especially loves photography and cannot wait to take pictures of our new family!! She loves to not only create great memories, but capture them as well.

Jennifer is not only my wife but my best friend. She is the strongest person I know. One thing I admire about my wife is that no matter what challenge faces her, she never looks at it as a failure, but only a bump in the road. I know my wife was put on this earth to be a mom. She just loves spending time with my brothers and sister and enjoys teaching them new things. I would best describe my wife as truly warm hearted, smart, outgoing and motivated to accomplish everything she possibly can in life. Jennifer always puts the needs of others first and I think this is what will make her a great mom!

About Antoine
Antoine’s family lives close by which gives him the opportunity to see them as often as possible. He is the oldest of four children in his family. His brothers are thirteen years old, and seven years old and his sister is nine years old. He has been a wonderful role model and "rock" to his siblings during their young lives. There has never been a graduation, rehearsal, football game, or event at his brothers and sisters schools that Antoine has not attended. It has been a big benefit to Antoine’s siblings that he is so much older than they are and he has taken on the role as another stable adult male figure in their lives.
Antoine loves the outdoors, and especially photography. He has a tremendous talent for seeing things through the lens and bringing them to life! He can’t wait to share his enjoyment of photography with his own children. Antoine also enjoys computers and video games in his free time.
Antoine has been a contractor as a cable technician for several years. This is a very satisfying job for him, as it allows him to approach each job differently & problem solve on a daily basis. It also allows him to do one of his favorite things which is meeting new people from all different backgrounds!

Antoine is a very dedicated husband, brother, son, son-in-law and friend. He has so much patience and compassion for others. He always listens with an open heart and mind before making any decisions. He has a passion for meeting new people and getting along with almost everyone he meets. Not to mention, he has a hilarious sense of humor! Antoine is generous, hardworking, supportive and loving....wonderful attributes that will make him an amazing father!
